Headless Screw Design Optimizes Use in Articular Surfaces of Joints and Areas of Minimal Soft Tissue Coverage

• 2.0mm and 2.5mm sizes for use in fixation of small bone fragments
• Opposing buttress thread design to optimize compression toward fracture/osteotomy
• Reverse cutting flutes in head and distal threaded portion of screw to facilitate easy removal
• Self-drilling, self-tapping screws for easy insertion
• Lengths in 1mm increments for precise outcomes
• Strong stainless steel design to optimize insertion and fixation
• StickFIT™ screw head design to provide easy removal of the screws from the tray and secure handling in the OR
• Modified T7 drive mechanism reduces stripping of screws compared to hex drive mechanisms
• Simple, economic one-piece implant design

Indications:
The SBi AutoFIX™ Twin Pitch Cannulated Compression Screw System implants are indicated in the treatment of fractures, nonunions, pseudarthrosis and degenerative changes, as well as corrective osteotomies geared towards a functionally stable osteosynthesis in small bones.

Contraindications:
Do not use the SBi AutoFIX™ implants in cases of:
• Osteopenic bone
• Inadequate bone quantity and/or bone quality
• Foreign body sensitivity to implant material
• Acute or chronic systemic or localized infections
• Any medical or surgical condition precluding the potential benefit of surgery
• Dependency on pharmaceutical drugs, drug abuse or alcoholism
• Lack of patient cooperation or mental iIIness
• Immuno-suppression
