The SBi Cannulated Screw System is designed to treat specific indications that include foot and ankle arthrodesis, foot and ankle trauma fracture fixation and osteotomies. The Cannulated Screw System is also indicated for fixation of small and long bones such as femoral neck fractures, slipped capital femoral epiphysis, tibial plateau fractures, pediatric femur fractures, intercondylar femur fractures, and subtalar arthrodesis. The low profile head can minimize soft tissue irritation and the possible need for removal. The screws can be used with or without a washer depending on bone quality. The deeper thread lengths optimize overall pullout strength in both the fully threaded and partially threaded screws.

Features and Benefits:

• 5.0mm, 6.5mm and 7.5mm sizes for use in fixation of foot and ankle bones

• Offered in a wide variety of diameters, lengths and thread counts all in one tray

• Fully cannulated screws to ensure proper placement

• Drill tipped guide wires help facilitate initial positioning, assist in positioning adjustments and provide superior penetration into cortical and sclerotic bone

• Screws are self-drilling and self-tapping reducing the need for drill bits in many cases

• Deeper threads optimize overall pullout strength by promoting maximum screw purchase

• Screw head lays flush with the bone when used in conjunction with the included countersink tool

• Easy out screw removal tools for both headless and stripped heads included in the system
