The STABILITY™ Sigmoid Notch Total DRUJ System allows complete DRUJ replacement. The implant is indicated for Rheumatoid, Degenerative or Post-Traumatic Arthritis, as well as for wrist joint pain and weakness.

The Sigmoid Notch Implant is designed to be used in conjunction with the SBi uHead™ prosthesis. The Sigmoid Notch and uHead components articulate against each other in a concave-convex spherical relationship and are anatomically designed for minimal resection in order to restore normal articulation. The implants are available in various lengths and they are modular, meaning that any size sigmoid notch will fit with any size head. In addition, the intuitive instruments utilizing Precise Guidance Technology™ allow for a simple, easy to follow technique.

SBi’s Sigmoid Notch Implant used in conjunction with the SBi uHead™ prosthesis provides:

• Added stability to DRUJ in the presence of ulnar instability or IOL compromise
• Reassurance to higher demand patients where bone erosion may be possibe
• Assistance where there is insufficient TFC
• Reduced possibility of Dorsal/Palmar translation in patients with radial carpal fusion
